Margeaux Walter (1982, Seattle/USA) studied at the Maine Photographic Workshops, Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, and Hunter College. Recent exhibitions include solo shows at the Nohra Haime Gallery and Winston Wachter Fine Art in New York, as well as group shows at the Tacoma Art Museum, Sonoma County Museum, Montalvo Art Center, and Griffin Museum. In 2009, the Magenta Foundation chose her as a top emerging photographer in the United States and she was awarded Juror’s Choice at the Butler Institute of American Art’s National Midyear Exhibition. Her work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, New York Post, Seattle Times, Boston Globe and Scene Magazine.
